Nailing steps:
1-Excavation: with a depth of 1 to 2 meters depending on the ability of the soil to stay stable without restraint for a period of 24 to 48 hours. The width of the excavation must be such that it is easy to install the equipment needed for drilling.
2- Drilling holes for the placement of the hole: Holes should be made in length, diameter, direction and at specified intervals according to the specified steps.
3 - Installing nails and running slurry: The nails fit into drilled holes. The nails are commonly used, although steel hollow nails are also used. For nails to be well covered by slurries, pieces are used to maintain the spacing between the nails and the inner wall of the holes on the nails. Injection tubes (Tremie) are also led into the holes at the same time. Then the holes are filled with mortar by injection tubes. Sweeping is carried out by gravity or with a slight pressure. Excavation in the middle sections adjacent to the sites being gutted. The pipe drainage strips in the heel of the initial excavation will remain in the next step for installation.
